Assistance can also be extended to mothers with newborns.

Services can include a licensed nurse to assist with skilled ongoing medical needs; a certified home health aide to assist with personal care, light housekeeping and meal preparation; or a companion to just “be” there for support, to run errands, etc.

The VNA of Central PA Private Duty Service can also make the Lifeline Personal Response System available to ensure 24-hour assistance to the elderly, recuperating patients, and those who are chronically ill or physically challenged.
