ACCREDITATION AND AFFILIATIONS

    In order to ensure that a high level of quality care is provided and to ensure compliance with government regulations, the VNA strives to maintain important accreditations and affiliations:

Accreditations/Certifications:

• Medicare/Medicaid Certified
  The VNA of Central PA and Visiting Nurse Association Hospice is Medicare and Medicaid certified and adheres to all rules and regulations of federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.

Affiliations:

• Visiting Nurse Associations of Pennsylvania (VNAs of PA)
  A statewide association established to develop a network whereby residents of Pennsylvania will have access to a full-range of home care services consistent with the philosophy of Visiting Nurse Associations and to promote consistency in the quality of home care services.
• Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA)
  A national organization of non-profit, free standing, Medicare certified home health agencies established to exchange and develop professional expertise for improving home care.
• Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA)
  A statewide association that fosters recognition of home care services as a vital segment of the total health care industry and promotes increased understanding and appropriate utilization of home care services.
